5.7 - Fire and Detonation Processing

Processing of damage and fire interactions is managed by the DtDetonationManager (detonationManager.h)and the DtFireManager (fireManager.h).

They notify the appropriate entity or entities when an interaction involving them occurs.

The components work together to minimize processing of interactions. The DtFire-Manager registers for both fire and detonation interactions. The DtDetonationManager registers for detonation interactions. The DtDamageAdjudicationActuator (damageAdjudicationActuator.h) and DtUnderFireDeterminationSensor (underFireDeterminationSensor.h) register themselves, their entities, and their appropriate callback functions with the managers. When a detonation or fire interaction occurs, the fire and detonation managers determine which registered entities are affected, and notify only those entities of the interaction. Thus only the appropriate registered entities need to process the interaction.
