VR-Link API Documentation for DIS

As an alternative to initializing an exercise connection, a simpler way to handle initialization is to use the ApplicationInitializer class.
Create this class to allow your application to handle MAK-supplied command line arguments by default. The ApplicationInitializer parses the command line on creation, searching for a connection type (ConnectionType). To define a connection type, provide a -C or -ConnectionType command with either DIS, HLA13, HLA1516, HLA1516E, or WEBLVC as the value (if no ConnectionType is provided, DIS is the default). Here is an example of launching an application with the ApplicationInitializer:
To see the full list of command line arguments use the -h or -help command to display valid arguments.
You can extend the ApplicationInitializer. The f18Init class is a good example of the possibilities introduced when extending the ApplicationInitializer. See the f18Init.cs file in the f18-Sharp example for reference.
