Detailed Description

Currently, DtNetSocketHeader contains a simple size field at offset 0 to be used by DtTcpSocket to read in a packet with this header.

BEWARE OF CHANGES TO THIS STRUCTURE! Changing the size of this structure could result in adverse consequences related to message metadata processing. Since this header is often prepended to an existing message which may already have metadata aligned to the correct boundaries it could change the alignment of metadata within, in turn making it impossible for the recipient to recover the metadata. As long as this structure is a multiple of 32 bits in length all alignments will be preserved.
