Functions

void DT_DLL_RTIUTIL addArgument (std::vector< MAKRti::DtString > &argumentList, const MAKRti::DtString option, const MAKRti::DtString value=MAKRti::DtString::nullString(), bool addQuotes=false)
 Add a command line argument with optional stringified value and with optional surrounding quotes to the given argument list for use with DtCreateProcess__rti__ In windows, argument values that are actual strings that may have spaces should pass true to addQuotes as the text gets inserted into a single execution string and the quotes are needed to keep the argument atomic.
bool DT_DLL_RTIUTIL DtCreateProcess__rti__ (const MAKRti::DtFilename &executableName, const MAKRti::DtFilename &workingDirectory, const std::vector< MAKRti::DtString > &args, int childWritePipe, int childReadPipe, DtProcessInteractivityMode__rti__ interactive=DtProcFgInteractive__rti__, int shouldInheritHandles=1)
 Create a process with the given executable name and arguments to run in the given working directory.

Function Documentation

void DT_DLL_RTIUTIL addArgument ( std::vector< MAKRti::DtString > &  argumentList,
const MAKRti::DtString  option,
const MAKRti::DtString  value = MAKRti::DtString::nullString(),
bool  addQuotes = false
)

In linux, string arguments should never get quotes because the arguments are just transferred to an argv argument list which is already atomic and quotes would become part of the argument value.

bool DT_DLL_RTIUTIL DtCreateProcess__rti__ ( const MAKRti::DtFilename &  executableName,
const MAKRti::DtFilename &  workingDirectory,
const std::vector< MAKRti::DtString > &  args,
int  childWritePipe,
int  childReadPipe,
DtProcessInteractivityMode__rti__  interactive = DtProcFgInteractive__rti__,
int  shouldInheritHandles = 1
)

Create a process with the given executable name and arguments to run in the given working directory.
