This page describes the various settings for building an application with the Remote Control API.

On Windows, set the paths to VR-Forces and VR-Link's include and lib directories in your project settings. Also, you need the paths to your RTI tree for HLA. VR-Link and RTI distributes both debug and release versions of its libraries. Please review the prerequisites for building VR-Forces in 18.2 - Prerequisites for Building VR-Forces Applications.

VR-Forces example applications and plugins should be referenced for all additional includes, compiler flags, and library dependencies you will need to successfully build your project.

For HLA, link against the following libraries:

From VR-Forces:

vrfcontrolHLA13RT.lib vrfobjparamRT.lib vrfcoreHLA13RT.lib vrfmsgsRT.lib

vrfplanRT.lib vrftasksRT.lib vrfutilRT.lib vrfgdbRT.lib vrfExtProtocolRT.lib vrfMsgTransportHLA13RT.lib

Note
For each library with HLA13 in its name, you can substitute HLA1516 or HLA1516e to build for the RTI 1516 or HLA Evolved specifications. You can also specify the HLA13, HLA 1516, and HLA1516e libraries together. This note applies to the VR-Link libraries.
From VR-Link:

From the RTI:

libRTI-NG.lib libfedtime.lib

For DIS, link against the following libraries:
