9.4 - Fixed Wing Fighter Jet System

The fixed wing fighter jet system is a system of sensor, controller, and actuator components that comprise the movement model for some fixed wing aircraft.

This system is configured on several entity types in VR-Forces, such as the A-10 Thunderbolt.

Defined in system defintion file: fixed-wing-fighter-jet.sysdef

The fixed wing movement system can be configured as part of a Fixed Wing Entity.

9.4.1 Components that Make Up the Fixed Wing Fighter Jet System

The figure below shows what systems and simulation components are configured as part of the fixed wing fighter jet system. The boxes (nodes) represent indivdiual DtSimComponent classes. The edges connecting the boxes indicate port or port group connections between components.
