While plug-ins provide a flexible way to deploy extensions to VR-Vantage applications, there may be cases in which you need to create new applications based on our application framework.
When you do this, we recommend that you use one of the example projects in ./appsrc (such as userStealth) as a starting point. The userStealth application source code looks like this:
Notice that we did not directly need to create a DtDe. That is because the higher-level class DtVrvApplication creates one for us. It also creates a DtPluginManager and loads any available plug-ins, and then initializes the DtDe. It sets up an event loop, and once you call run(), it repeatedly calls tick(). To get access to the application's DtDe, simply call de().
