Tasks and Plans

To assign a task using the Remote Control API, make the appropriate DtVrfRemoteController member function call.

The Remote Control API allows you to assign, request, and abandon plans:

• You can register several types of callbacks to monitor changes and to discover the current status of assigned plans.
• You can subscribe and unsubscribe to an echelon ID's plan messages using subscribePlan() and unsubscribePlan(). The function passed to subscribePlan() is invoked whenever the current plan is changed or whenever a request has been made for the plan.
• You can register and unregister callbacks to notify you when individual statements are executing (using add/removePlanStatementCallback()).
• You can register and unregister callbacks to notify you when a plan is complete (using add/removePlanCompleteCallback()).

When assigning plans to simulation objects, the DtVrfRemoteController uses VR-Forces plan data structures to represent the plan.
