DtAimWeaponController Class Reference

This class is responsible for controlling the aiming of a weapon at a target point. Uses Descriptor Type: DtAimWeaponControllerDescriptor.

This function takes a left bearing and a right bearing and uses them as reference positions to map other bearings on the circle to a number line. The numeric value of the left bearing must be < the value of the right bearing; otherwise, 2pi is subtracted from the left bearing to get a new reference left bearing value. The left and right bearing parameters are pass-by-reference so their new values can be returned. The value of testBearing is adjusted if necessary so that if it represents a point on the circle that is between leftBearing and rightBearing, then its value will be between those values. If the testBearing point is not between the left and right bearings, then its value will be adjusted so that it is > both left and right, or < both left and right. For example: left bearing = -pi/3, right bearing = -2pi/3. Here the left value > the right value, so a new left value computed = -7pi/3. Test bearing = -pi/6: this point is between the left and right bearings => return -pi/6 - 2pi, a value between left and right.
