Loading Terrains and Models examples

List of example that show how to load a terrain / models / paging functions.

• exampleCommLines - Create a driver that displays 2-D and 3-D communication lines between an F-18 and buildings on Ground_DB II database.
• exampleDriverPlugin - Creates a driver and uses it to put an entity in the scene.
• exampleEffectPlugin - Shows how to create detonation and other effects when an entity is destroyed.
• exampleMFC - Shows how to embed VR-Vantage in an MFC application. (Windows only)
• exampleOsgTerrainPaging - Shows how to use DtTerrainPageSignaler to listen in on pagedin and out events (currently only works with Metaflight database).
• exampleProjectile - Shows how to fire a projectile (a Tank!) using the F key and create an explosion
• exampleSymbolFacade - This example builds a symbol facade and driver and shows additional steps that are necessary for deleting symbols using an item on the symbol's context menu.
• exampleTacticalGraphics - Shows how to add tactical graphics to a 2-D and 3-D display.
• exampleThreadedDriver - Shows how to create your own driver (in a multithread application). Use it to put an entity in the scene (Ground_DB II) and use simengine to calculate height-above-terrain (HAT).
• exampleModelArticulationDistributed - Shows how to use the articulated model agent. The application loads a geometry file, adds the geometry to the scene and articulates parts of the geometry. Of particular interest in this tutorial is the use of agents to load and manage the geometry.
• exampleModelInstance - Shows how to load an OpenFlight geometry file into a DtModelInstance and then add it to the scene. Of particular interest in this example is how to create and initialize a model instance.
