Detailed Description

The vl library contains classes and functions which aid in modeling and simulation for HLA1.3, HLA1516, HLA1516e and DIS.

This library is the central component of the VR-Link product which contains the Protocol-Independent Interface (VR-Link Developers Guide Section 5.1), as well as the Protcol-Dependent HLA, and DIS Interfaces. Important classes include DtExerciseConn, which is used to connect to your exercise (VR-Link Developers Guide Section 5.2), as well as subclasses of DtObjectPublisher, DtReflectedObjectList, DtReflectedObject, and DtStateRepository.

• The vl<Prot> library depends on the vlprot, vlutil, mtl and matrix libraries.
  1. <Prot> is either HLA13, HLA1516, HLA1516e, or DIS
• On UNIX platforms the library is named libvl<Prot>.so
• On Windows the library is named vl<Prot>.dll, vl<Prot>d.dll library.
